Hello Fellow Knights and Family,
Welcome to another new month, August! August is a month that lets summer wind down and allows us to transition into the beginings of the fall season. Because we find ourselves navigating these unprecidented times we find that this year's 138th Supreme Convention will be held virtually. While this is a little different than most years it does allow for members far and wide to be able to keep up with everything going on from the confort of your own homes. Below we have included the information provided by the Knights home office for how to participate.
The 138th Supreme Convention will be held virtually from Aug. 4-5, 2020.
Here’s how you can follow the action at home: Visit kofc.org/convention for streaming video, news and photos. And follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for a close-up look at everything that’s going on.
All public events will be shown on kofc.org/convention. In addition, some events will be broadcasted by EWTN, Canada’s Salt + Light Television and the Catholic TV Network.
Begin tuning into the event by watching the Into the Breach video series’ television premiere on EWTN on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET — Then, at 6:30 p.m. ET all networks will begin airing the Opening Mass, followed by the Supreme Knight's Report at 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, Aug. 5, the Memorial Mass begins at 2:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Awards Session, available exclusively at kofc.org/convention.
